Making Life Count

Denise and I travel extensively throughout the U.S. and internationally and have found that the majority of Christians do not know God's Will for their lives. Jesus said, "for this purpose I have come into the earth". God told Moses, "for this cause I have raised you up". Do you ask yourself these questions, "Where am I going in life?", "What am I suppose to be doing?". Having purpose in life brings confidence for living. Waking up each morning without purpose is devastating! If we don't know where we're going, how will we know when we get there? If we don't have a clear purpose in life, how can we set goals to achieve it? Your purpose or mission in life is like a compass that keeps you moving in the right direction.
Jesus said, "For the Son of man has come to seek and to save that which was lost." How was He to do this? He told us in Luke 4:18,19. Jesus was mapping out how He was going to fulfill His mission. It is the same with us today. We must be alert to the needs around us. The Holy Spirit will put an urgency in your heart to help with a specific situation or to speak a word of encouragement. This is how determining Gods' Will begins. Being alert and taking action. Start today where you are and let God use you to make a difference in the life of someone else! You are His minister, sent with a mission. What you do will make a difference and be an answer to prayer in someones life.
